On April 20th, Chief Fall honored Sgt. Michael Borell with a Department Commendation, for his efforts with an in-depth case on February 24th, 2021. The initial response started with a female victim being abused by her boyfriend which lead to the suspect being arrested for physical domestic charges. While on the scene Sgt. Borell, Officers Bradley Boothe and Brandon Amidon developed enough probable cause for a search warrant. The search warrant was executed the next morning, leading Geddes Police to a large amount of drugs, drug paraphernalia and also weapons including high capacity magazines that are now in police custody. Sgt. Borell, on behalf of Chief Fall and the Town Council, we COMMEND you for your fine work and leadership with this arrest and seizure!
