Planter Project

Geddes volunteers gathered at our highway garage on May 20th to fill 96 planters

that will be displayed along State Fair Blvd, Lakeland Park, West Genesee Street and Geddes Fields. This project was funded by Onondaga County’s Main Street grant.

This project could have not been executed without Project Coordinator Tina Maroney, residents Penny Mercer, Annette Cregan, Matt Muehl, Jeannette Weber, Patricia Berkery and Councilors Maroney, Weber and LaFex. A tremendous thank you to all of you!

We would also like to acknowledge our Highway Department Crews who will be delivering them to their summer spots this next week, as well as keeping up with watering them. (Residents are encouraged to water as well!).
