Today Assemblyman William Magnarelli joined representatives from the Town of Geddes and the Town of Van Buren as the first load of salt was delivered to the newly built Van Buren Salt Shed. The Town of Geddes and Town of Van Buren have made an agreement of shared services, that includes exchange or lending of materials or equipment which shall promote and assist the maintenance of roads and highways and provide a cost savings by maximizing the effective utilization of both towns’ resources.
