On Tuesday November 23rd, 2021 there will be a public referendum on increasing the Solvay Fire Dept.’s Service Awards Program. The amount will increase from $480.00 to $1200.00 per year for members that qualify under the state’s service credit point system.
This will be the first increase requested since 1990.
Registered voters in the Town of Geddes (Solvay Fire District which is Solvay and Westvale) Please support this referendum and vote.
Voting will be held from 3 pm to 9 pm at the Solvay Firehouse located at 1925 Milton Ave. Please use the upper parking lot off Orchard Rd.
